Modify Reservations Wizard
Use the Modify Reservations wizard to make changes to reservation record information.
To modify a reservation

Click the Modify Reservations wizard. |

In the Item Search, search the title for which you want to modify reservations. With the Modify Reservations wizard, you have the additional search options of User ID, Job ID, Course ID, Course Name, Instructor ID, and Instructor Name. |
Important: If the title you are searching uses a non-unique call number, the wrong title could be selected for modifcation. Consider selecting a search option other than a catalog search for titles with non-unique call numbers.

If a Current record exists, click the Current information link to access the last record displayed, modified, or added. If there is more than one title in your result, select the correct title record and click Modify Reservation. |

If you search for reservations by user ID, a list of the user’s reservations displays. Select a reservation record and click Modify Reservation. |

If you search for reservations by job ID, the list of reservations displays the booking ID, booking job ID, and title for each reservation. Click the glossaries to view more information about these reservations. |

If you search for reservations using the course searches, the Item Search window will display a browse list of courses. The View pane (at the bottom of the Item Search window) displays the List of Instructors Tab and List of Reserves Tab for the course you select. Select an instructor/reserve combination on these tabs and click Modify Reservation to see associated reservation information (if any reservations exist). |

If you search for reservations using the instructor searches, the Item Search window will display a browse list of instructors. The View pane (at the bottom of the Item Search window) displays the List of Courses Tab and List of Reserves Tab for the instructor you select. Select a course/reserve item combination on these tabs, and click Modify Reservation to see associated reservation information (if any reservations exist). |

If a list of matching items appears, select the correct item in the list, and click Modify Reservation. |

Once you’ve selected a title reservation for display, the List of Reservations window opens. The List of Reservations window displays the following fields: Name, Pickup Library, Patron Reservation Starts, Patron Reservation Ends, and Date Charged. |
For more information about the user, click the Name glossary. For more detailed information about each reservation click the glossary in the Patron Reservation Starts or Patron Reservation Ends columns.
Under Change Reservation Lookup Options, you can further filter the title’s list of reservations by pickup library, reservation start date, and reservation end date. Update the list by clicking Display Title Reservations.

Select a reservation in the list and click Modify Reservation. |

On the Reservation Information Tab, make changes to the reservation information. Depending on the item type, library policies, and the type of time slots used in the reservation, you may edit the following information. |

Fixed Time Slot (if fixed time slots are used) |

If applicable, the Extended Information Tab appears with system-defined extended information fields, such as Notes and Comments. Click the Extended Info tab, and make changes to the fields, if needed. |

Click Modify Reservation to save your changes to the reservation, or click Close to close the Modify Reservation window without saving any changes. |
After modifying a reservation, you can click one of the following options.

Return to Search to return to the list of reservations |

New Search to search a new reservation |
|

Close to exit the wizard |
